Q: Why does AGV Sport offer two different warrantees?
AGV Sport strives to use the finest materials and manufactures in the world when constructing its products. Naturally in some of the higher priced products higher quality materials and construction methods are used, hence the two different warrantees which are as follows:
Standard 1-year warranty
“Every AGV Sports product features a minimum of a one-year warranty for manufacture defects. If AGV Sport determines that the product in question has a material or construction defect then the product will be repaired or replaced at no charge. Warranty is void if, in AGV Sport’s opinion, the product has been improperly cared for, altered, crashed or modified in any way, or if the usable life of the item has expired. AGV Sport reserves the right to repair or replace, at its discretion, any valid warranty claim. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other guarantees or warranties implied or expressed. The buyer assumes all risks for any and all damages caused to him, a third party and/or property by virtue of failure of these products.”
This warranty includes all AGV Sport items not listed under the Pro-Gear 5-year warrantee.
Pro-Gear 5-Year Warranty
“AGV Sports Pro Gear products have a five-year warranty for manufacture defects.

Q. How long does it take to get my product repaired?
A. It will take about one week , then add shipping time back to your location.
Q. Can AGV Sport still fix my defective product even though my warranty has expired?
A. Yes, send us photos and a description for a detailed estimate.
Q. How does AGV Sport work its jacket sizing?
A. That is a common question when people see that AGV Sport sizes some jackets in the numeric sizing system (example: 42, 44 etc) and others in the classic system Americans are more accustomed to (example: M, L, XL etc).
As with any technical product the answer is a bit complex. You see, AGV Sport knows that some riders like a different fit than others. It is for this reason that AGV Sport offers its jackets in two distinctly different "cuts". The numeric sized items are a more tightly- tailored cut and is offered in the more precise sizing runs. The American cut is a looser fit (especially around the belly) and is offered in the customary small thru XXL (or larger) sizes. So, no matter the rider's preference; the tightly- tailored look or the more “roomy” American look, AGV Sport has riders all over the world covered.
Q. When sizes small, medium, large, X-large, and XX-large are used what is
the number size equivalent?
A. There is not a direct equivalent due to the cut itself (see the previous question) However, in general you could say:
Small/Medium = 42, Large = 44-46, X-Large = 48-50, XX-Large =52.
You will notice two number sizes for some of the letter equivalent; this is due to the more precise measurements when working with number sizing as compared to the letter sizing that run a more relaxed fit.
Q. Then what size jacket do I order?
A. When a leather jacket is desired, measure your Chest, Waist, and sleeve. Leather suits require Chest, Waist, sleeve, thigh and inseam measurements.
See the sizing charts used within the website.
Q. What thickness leather is used in AGV Sport leather suits and sport leather jackets?
A. AGV Sport uses 1.2mm to 1.4mm premium top grain leather, which AGV Sport approved tanneries continually monitor for proper thickness and quality (others use 1.6mm to 1.8mm to try and achieve the same abrasion level). This is the only way to insure the high safety factor required when using this thickness of leather. Other benefits of 1.2mm to 1.4mm premium top grain leather is reduced weight, improved mobility, and increased durability. This translates into less rider fatigue with unsurpassed safety standards.
Q. Does AGV Sport have a rider support program?
A. Yes, we have an extensive rider support program. To submit your resume please visit http://www.agvsport.com
